How long will it take to develop my resume?

Although not all resumes are the same we estimate to have the draft to you within 7 business days following the receipt of all required information and payment. An express service option is available with the resume completed in 24-48 hours at an additional charge. As we are not a word processing organisation and develop your resume following extensive research into your career history, positions and industry the time spent developing your resume is much greater than it would be just typing with information dictated to us or through the use of resume creation software.

Can I get a guarantee with my product or your services?

Under guidelines as outlined by the ACCC, we cannot provide a concrete guarantee for our services. Organisations providing such guarantees within the field of professional services can be seen as using this purely as a marketing technique and this is seen as misleading and deceptive conduct. A professional resume service cannot provide you a guarantee of a job or an interview as this is deceptive and misleading.

What information do I need to provide for you to complete my resume?

Initial information required is:

• List of certificates and degrees including institutes completed at
• The type of position you are looking for
• Details of previous positions – start and end dates, position title and organisation name
• Contact details

Additional information that we will require through the draft process includes achievements for each position and referees for display on the resume.

What hours are you available if I would like an appointment?

Our receptionist will take a message when a consultant is not available and a consultant will call you back as soon as possible.

What is the difference between your services and products to those offered by a secretarial/word processing service?

A secretarial and word processing service is not involved within the professional career industry so is not aware of the changes including key words, format requirements or general recommendations on wording and task descriptions. Generally, a word processing service will require you to dictate information to them and they will format the information you provide them.

When do I need to make payment?

As we immediately start working on your document, we require full payment up front. This is our way of confirming your purchase of the product and ensures that you can receive your product as soon as possible.  We accept payment via direct deposit and credit card.

I have seen other service providers offer printed copies, why don’t you?

Generally, the service providers offering a number of copies will not provide you an editable version of your resume. In this industry, many service providers will only provide you your document in PDF format which will not allow you to edit or print your document which is the reason why they need to provide you printed copies. As all of our documents are provided in fully editable word format, with no restrictions on printing or editing, we do not provide you with printed copies as you are able to print these if you ever need them. Please bare in mind that most of the time you will be submitting your application via email or online.

Do you offer an edit service on a resume I have written?

We only offer an edit service on documents we have written. If you have a document that you feel meets all the basic industry standards and can provide this document in word format via email, we are happy to provide a quote on an edit service however it must already have included minimum industry expectations which we will advise and assess against. This service is charged at $77 per hour or part there of which will generally result in an edit service costing more than our already discounted package specials.
